Happy 21st Birthday
As a child growing up in the Stockwell/ Vauxhall area of south London, one of the cleverest men around was our local tramp. Any thing that we asked him, he could answer apart from why was he a tramp? As an adult, I can remember seeing homeless men & women all over the world, and can clearly remember when The Big Issue appeared on the streets of London.
Last week Thursday evening, I attended the Big Issue’s 21st birthday celebrations. I am so inspired by these guys 🙂

Remember: Most of us are only 3 to 6 salary payments away from homelessness!
Thoughts on Thursday
When I was a child (violins), a creative person was someone that worked within the arts – nowadays we have realised that definition is outdated and wrong. Now Henri Matisse said: ‎”Creative people are curious, flexible, persistent, and independent with a tremendous spirit of adventure and a love of play.”
Excellent definition :).

Just imagine if everyone grew up with this humble knowledge?
“Nobody is better than you and you’re not better than anybody. You can be anything you wanna be.”
Advice from my parents to me, and from me to my children.
