Monthly Archives: September 2011

An easy way to remember:

30 days has September,
April, June and November
All the rest have 31
And February’s great with 28
And Leap Year’s February’s fine with 29.

I learnt this song at primary school!
I have been shocked at the amount of adults who do not know how many days there are in a month.
Learn the song, it’s a really easy way to remember 🙂

Thoughts on Tuesday:

“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.” – Michelangelo

Cause And Effect:

A cause is something that makes something else happen.  Out of two events, it is the event that happens first. To determine the cause, ask the question “Why Did it Happen?”

An effect is what happens as a result of the cause.  Of two related events, it’s the one that happens second or last.  To determine the effect, ask the question “What Happened?”

Now I tend to believe the following:

1) “Life is 10% what you make it, and 90% how you take it.” – Irving Berlin

2) “Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you respond to it.” – Lou Holtz

3)“Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.” – Charles R. Swindoll

What about you?
